A very sunny, hot day. After breakfast we met up at Federation Square and took the 16 tram to St. Kilda beach. We sat on our new beach towels and paddled in the sea. At midday we had a beer in a shady bar and then had cheeses for lunch.

We strolled along the Esplanade, and then returned to the city as it was very hot. We read books and showered, and later met Matthew and Sarah again at the Night Noodle Market. Crowds of people were there. We just had wine, as the food queues were extremely long.

We took a tram to Hardware Lane and dined at The Mill, a very nice place. We all had fish.
