The Royal Exhibition Centre is a World Heritage site

We woke late after another disturbed night and went for breakfast at our usual place. We arranged to meet Mathew and Sarah later. Pouring with rain again. We took the tram to Exhibition and walked through Carlton Gardens. We saw the Royal Exhibition Centre, a World Heritage site, and then went into the modern Melbourne Museum. We got tickets for the IMAX show The Blue Planet.

After the film we went into the Bond bar with film posters and cars from the Bond movies. We got a drink and had lunch when Matthew and Sarah arrived.

Then we all went to see the exhibition about Aboriginal life and culture, the Forest Walk and the Body and Mind exhibition.


We split up and returned to the hotel, still raining. Had a glass of 'champagne' in the hotel bar.
